E-Drifting: Assetto Corsa, rFactor, G27's and so on.
So I'm about to nerd out and build a PC rig to playing fake drifting games. Not sure if we should do a separate PC build thread for all of the real nerds.
What do you play?
What wheel do you use?
Setup servers and shit?
I don't know I don't play shit.
Jay Jay and Julian provide some insight!

I'm on rfactor with a g27. With the right mods and real feel plugin it gets pretty decent. Enough to be consistent and have some good fun with friends. Been playing with Kado and some friends from Chicago.

Yeah the graphics aren't great but the plus side to that is you don't need a crazy rig for it either. Plus you're so focused on drifting you tend to forget about them anyways.

Just buy Assetto Corsa you god damn cheap assholes.
It costs the same amount as registering for Sonoma Drift, and its 100X more fun.

So I'm on rfactor now if anyone is down. Weird though, I have the project D mod, SP mod, P-server mod, and installed real feel plugin and a bunch of tracks but I am having a hard time getting most cars to "feel" right. But I have gotten the jzx100, jzx110, one of the R33 to feel pretty damn realistic and consistent. Any tips for ffb settings/car tuning/etc? I try to stick to real life logic when tuning the cars but it doesn't always work out.
All the S-chassis I've tried within the project D mod feel like a bag of dicks. They want to steer themselves to full lock, it's weird af.
