Hello Old Friends - Darius here

Hello NorCalDrift,
It’s a pleasant surprise to have this back. For anyone who experienced the original NCD, I am glad to be back, and am happy to see some familiar “faces”.  

I’ve been drifting since about 2006 and got to experience the NorCal drift scene pretty much from the beginning of ‘modern drifting’.
Back when Sonny, and the shock drifting team used to rock Altamont, and a dual cam KA was the best thing since sliced bread.

I am best known for sporting a stark contrast of bright pink pants paired to medium tanned skin.  
Weird to think it’s been almost 10 years since I began. Can’t remember the last time I sat in the driver’s seat at a track day. So in essence, I am what most would consider a “washed up drifter” holding on to the invisible wave at this point.

Glad to see a comeback of drifting and the reemergence of ‘drift teams’.  
Funny to see things come back around full circle.
Although I am a bit lost with all the new drift teams and what not, I grew up with most of the guys in now old school NorCal drift scene.  
I am one of the original members of Wolfreign , and who knows. Maybe we’ll make a come-back one of these days.

Yeah cool seeing you out at the track later wednesday. Be cool if some of the older folks came back and started drifting. Feel like there's not too many of us consistently out there anymore
